Student funding
Get advice on how to fund your online course, including potential loans and discounts.
Who we are
Some students choose to fund their tuition fees by taking out a loan. The Funding services at UAL works with loan providers to facilitate the ability of students to access these loans. The UAL Funding services will confirm your enrolment at the university with relevant providers as part of the checks they undertake to confirm your eligibility.
How you'll be supported
Not all loan providers offer funding for online degrees, so you must check their terms and conditions before applying. Several loan providers may offer funding to UAL Online students after an eligibility check.
UK residents
If you're living in the UK, you may consider a loan from Student Finance England (SFE). Find out more about Postgraduate loans.
International students
If you're based in the US or Canada, you will not be eligible for federal funding. However, you may consider a private loan provider to fund your course. Explore more about international loans.
UAL Online students are not eligible for UAL fee waivers, scholarships or the university's hardship fund.
Contact the team
If you have a question about the funding you may be entitled to, including Progression Discounts, Student Finance loans and UK state benefits, please reach out to the UAL Online Student Success Team in the first instance, who will be able to provide further information.
