Got some experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator but want to try out something new? Visual artist Jamain’s demo shows you how to create basic 3D objects.

Jamain taught himself how to design in 3D to broaden his creative skills. In this video guide you’ll find out how to use the tools in Illustrator, Photoshop Adobe Dimensions to build an object.

Once you start at university, Adobe Creative Suite will be loaded up on all computers. You may find there are offers and discounts so look out for those too if you think you’ll be using these programmes extensively.

Jamain's also a big fan of the free photography and video editing app, VSCO.

Watch his video guide to getting the best out of settings in the app. He's used it to give some vibrant punchy colour to his 3D objects.
