Take part in our workshops and programmes
Developed to say thank you to our network of teachers, tutors and community practitioners.
Our workshops will give you the chance to develop you own individual skills. You'll work alongside UAL tutors.
Invest in the development of your teaching department with our programmes. You'll get input from emerging UAL creatives, many of whom have taken part in Insights.
Who can apply?
If you’re a Greater London partner school / college / community group or new to us with students that fit our eligibility criteria, come join us.
Schools and colleges in priority postcode areas with students receiving above average free school meals will be prioritised.

Creative Undergraduates in Schools (CUIS) programme
A bespoke programme for creative teaching departments working with students 16 and under:
- undergraduates and UAL alumni (Outreach Ambassadors) can provide creative sessions in your primary or secondary school, inspired by their creativity and what your curriculum might require
- through dialogue with you, the Outreach team will pair you with someone with the appropriate skill set to enrich your curriculum
- you'll have a fantastic role model to help your students understand how university might support them in the future.
Example sessions: life drawing, costume design or material-led sessions (for example, clay or printmaking).
Eligibility and practical considerations
This is a small programme with limited places:
- schools in Greater London priority postcode areas with students receiving above average free school meals will be prioritised
- Outreach Ambassadors have a full DBS and are paid via UAL Arts Temps recruitment agency
- sessions take place at your school or college, and we can offer up to 3 visits over a short or extended period.
