What is Sanctuary

We are deeply committed to fostering a compassionate and inclusive environment for everyone, especially those seeking sanctuary. UAL’s Sanctuary Programme is a part of our Global Engagement Strategy that supports students and academics with lived experience of displacement. We understand the unique challenges faced by individuals who have been forced to flee their homes, and we are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for them to thrive.

We value the richness that diverse perspectives bring to our community. We believe that creativity knows no borders and that everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their creative ambitions and academic goals. We are committed to breaking down barriers and ensuring that every student can succeed and make their mark on the world.
