Professor Joanne Begiato

Biography

Joanne Begiato is a Professor of History and Material Culture Studies and Associate Dean of Research. Before joining London College of Fashion, she was Head of the School of History, Philosophy and Culture, and Associate Dean of Research and Knowledge Exchange of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Brookes. Joanne has a PhD and BA in History from Durham University and an Oxford MA. She was appointed as a Junior Research Fellow at Merton College, Oxford, and then as a College Teaching Officer at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, before joining Oxford Brookes University.
