In May, the Creative Entrepreneurs Society (CES) hosted its first-ever CES x Industry Social in collaboration with University of the Arts London Enterprising Alumni Network, to connect students with creative leaders.
Held at Corner at Tate Modern, the evening brought together 70 students and creative professionals from a variety of creative disciplines.
Unlike traditional networking events the social curated small, interest-based roundtable groupings and the intimate setting was designed to foster meaningful conversation. Each table had prompts to encourage conversation between students, alumni, and industry guests.
The relaxed and lively atmosphere of the café provided the perfect backdrop for real exchanges, helping students feel at ease while gaining insight into creative career paths.
There was a really positive response to the event, with one attendee saying it was “a great way to connect with other like-minded people and creative warriors and innovators. Mentally I feel so much better to have connected with others who also went through similar experiences and are passionate to build a path for themselves with integrity and creativity.”
Another said, “I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the event – the energy was fantastic, and I made many great connections.”
