Biography
Coupland (aka ZEEL) has been an illustrator, comic creator, printmaker, 3D maker, writer, designer and curator since leaving the RCA in 1995.
Apart from being lead tutor of second year BA Illustration, recent work includes multiple projects about folklore with The Golden Thread Project with exhibitions, musical events, the creation of a Golden Thread Project comic-book guide to transatlantic folksong, and a website.
ZEEL is also a member of the Artworkers Guild and collaborates on projects with clients like Pollocks Toy Theatres, Art in Romney Marsh, Work-form, Roko Press and Studio Operative among others.
