
Practical Metalwork Short Course
Course description
The course will give you a solid grounding in the basics of metalwork and will enable you to realise your ideas in your home setting. At the end of the course, the student will create an individual piece for their home or garden for example; a coffee table, shelving brackets and shelf, birdbath, candle holder or weather vane.
This course is suitable for beginners or those who have a basic skill set working with metal.

Individuals looking for tips and insights that they may wish to apply to their own homes, DIY enthusiasts, Metalwork beginners and all those who want to build on their metalwork skills.
Course outcomes
A practical sculpture of your own design as well as learning new skill sets, including knowledge of how to weld, plasma cut, grind, roll and bend metal and using hand tools.

Please note: This course is for students aged 18 and older
