Archie began his art school studies at Central Saint Martins on the foundation course, afterwards receiving a Bachelor's degree in Textiles at Chelsea College Of Art, and a Masters in Fashion from the Royal College Of Art in London. Over the last four years, since graduating from his masters, he has produced collections for Lisbon Fashion week under his brand AD16 and begun to create work for interiors..
His new work includes a costume design project for a performance-based art piece - showing in Berlin in the autumn as well as “Transverse 1”, which is a culmination of past experience in fashion and textile making that seeks to position his work between product and concept. Archie creates in a multi-disciplinary way and so he brings this to his teaching; introducing young artists and designers to a multi-faceted creative experience. He has taught with short courses for the last four years, working with experimental processes to extract his students' potential.
