Through practical demonstrations and hands-on experience, you'll learn how pattern pieces are shaped to create garments, how to lay out and cut patterns, and how to make up a garment using your newly developed sewing skills.

Banetta has worked in various sample rooms over the years, including 10 years in Monsoon sample room after developing her skills, and for British Designer Matthew Williamson. Banetta has worked with UAL, London College of Fashion for over 24 years as a learning and teaching Specialised Garment Technician. This allows her to teach and explore different ways of imparting her skills to students.
Lisa Lyons - Montgomery
Lisa Lyons-Montgomery has over 30 years of experience as a pattern cutter with the fashion industry, creatively and production based for both brands and designers alike. She is founder of her own bespoke bridalwear business, creating bespoke and made to measure bridalwear commissions from concept to finished garment for private clients. She also works for UAL both as a VP and Specialist Pattern Cutting Technician mentoring and teaching on BA womenswear, FFD and BA Menswear courses at LCF.Book a course
