As the environmental impact of the fashion and textiles industry becomes clear, there is an increasing urgency to rethink design and production methods, and the nature of future materials innovation.

UAL’s Fashion, Textiles and Technology Institute, in partnership with the V&A, is hosting a symposium to explore the importance of archives, the value of the material knowledge they hold & how more sustainable innovation is arguably best achieved through knowledge exchange across Design+STEM disciplines.

The event will be joined by expert speakers from across industry and academia outlining the fashion, textiles and technology industry sustainability challenges, and areas where cross-disciplinary approaches are necessary to drive progress.

There are a limited number of free tickets available. You are encouraged to book your ticket to this event early.
