University of the Arts London (UAL) has published a new People Strategy.

The UAL Strategy, launched in Spring 2022, sets an inspiring journey for the University in relation to teaching and learning, student experience, research, and knowledge exchange, as well as our social impact.

The newly launched People Strategy (PDF 2.6MB) will enable UAL to achieve these ambitions through its staff; harnessing our collective talent is the key to delivering the 10-year UAL Strategy and our ambitions for the future.

The People Strategy will ensure that our staff:

  • are enabled to do their best work in an environment that is safe, supportive and inclusive
  • continue to grow their skills and develop their careers
  • are rewarded for their efforts and outputs
  • will be supported in their mental and physical health and wellbeing.

The People Strategy aims to support a culture of accountability, fairness, and collaboration, where the collective good is prioritised and we can contribute to changing the world through our teaching, research, and knowledge exchange.
