Matt Locke

Biography

Matt Locke is 1 of 3 Directors at Storythings, a content agency and B Corp he founded in 2011, whose clients include ADP, Lenovo, The Gates Foundation, The Rockefeller Foundation, The Crick Institute, Tate and PBS. He has worked for over 25 years in senior digital roles in the arts and media, including Head of Innovation at BBC New Media from 2001 to 2006, and Commissioning Editor, Education/Head of Multiplatform at Channel 4 from 2006-2011.

He is currently Chair of The Audience Agency, a charity dedicated to providing data and insight about audiences to the arts sector, and is on the Digital Advisory Committee for the Science Museum Group. He has worked on boards and committees for over 20 years, including 6 years as Vice President for Public Engagement and Deputy Chair at the British Science Association, 6 years as Chair of Photoworks in Brighton, and 6 years on the Children’s Committee and Learning & Events Committee at BAFTA.
