Five UAL graduates win awards at the British Fashion Awards 2024

University of the Arts London alumni won five awards at the Fashion Awards 2024, including Jonathan Anderson winning Designer of the Year for the second time in a row.
The red-carpet event is organised by the British Fashion Council and took place at the Royal Albert Hall at the start of December. There were 16 prizes awarded throughout the evening. Nominees and winners are voted for by an international judging panel made up of over 1,000 industry experts.
The awards recognise designers and businesses that have made a global impact and defined the shape of global fashion through innovation and creativity.

Chopova Lowena
Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons met on their first day CSM, and in 2017 they received their MA in Fashion: Womenswear Fashion.
The evening was co-hosted by Maya Jama and LCF graduate, Kojey Radical. The night was packed with iconic performances and major fashion moments from fashion's biggest names. Guests included Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Debbie Harry, Ashley Graham, Nicola Coughlan, Ambika Mod and Stanley Tucci.
