Kate Scully originally trained as textile designer at Camberwell College of Arts and has worked with UK and European manufacturing companies creating seasonal printed fabric collections for the fashion and home furnishing markets.
As a forecast consultant, she has worked closely with many leading brands researching, analysing and developing colour and material directions for the fashion and home product markets in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and Asia. Kate is also the co-author of ‘Colour Forecasting for Fashion’ published by Laurence King (2012).
Kate completed an MA in History of Art at Birkbeck University of London. Research into the material culture of contemporary and historical textiles and objects informs her teaching, professional and personal practice.
