For: Teachers
Chelsea College of Arts, 16 John Islip Street, London, SW1P 4JU
Thursday 13 July 2023, 11am - 3pm
Join staff from across UAL to explore portfolios and the rise of digital presentation methods to assess student work and achievement. This workshop will give teachers the opportunity to view successful portfolios across a range of subjects at UAL and share ideas and best practice.
Not all young people have fair access to digital media and technology, and we need to ensure support to create digital portfolios within the classroom/studio setting. There are clear benefits to using digital portfolio methods which can reduce costs such as printing and transporting bulky work. Through group work and keynote presentations, teachers will consider how best to support students to show their work in progress and outcomes for specialist art and design subjects.
This session will be best placed for teachers who provide teaching and support to students studying at Level 2 and 3 but we welcome all teachers who would like to find out more about UAL subjects. The session will end with a networking and drinks reception.
How do I book?
Book via email outreach@arts.ac.uk with the title of the workshop you would like to attend, your name and school/college details.
