Join us to explore the power of storytelling and how to have a successful future in publishing.

For: Year 7 - 10 students

Chelsea College of Arts, 16 John Islip Street, London, SW1P 4JU

Autumn 2022 (Date: TBC)

Our 'Creativity X Representation' events shine a spotlight on diverse creative professionals to celebrate their achievements and equip young people from underrepresented backgrounds to forge their own path in the creative industry. We are running a publishing masterclass that will give students in Year 7-10 the inside scoop on what it takes to become broadcasting and journalism superstars!

Our three special guests, Serlina Boyd (Cocoa Magazine), Dalia Dawood (VICE, Financial Times, The Guardian) and Sakina Sule Ali (LCF Ambassador), will be sharing their journeys into publishing and leading a practical and fun workshop that will inspire students to explore the power of storytelling.

All students will receive a free Cocoa Girl or Cocoa Boy magazine, a UAL tote bag, a notebook and refreshments.

How to book

To register for the masterclass, please contact outreach@arts.ac.uk and include the number of students and which slot you would like to attend.
