Central Saint Martins graduate Sharmadean Reid MBE is a founder, writer and creative consultant, known for founding WAH Nails salon chain, beauty platform Beautystack and new media company The Stack World. At the heart of her work is her dedication to closing the gender leadership gap, engaging and retaining women in the workplace and building inclusive communities that facilitate personal and professional growth.
Awarded a British Empire Medal for services to women in 2015, Sharmadean was named Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman of the Year, Barclays Entrepreneur Icon of the Year, and a Marie Claire Future Shaper. Her first book, New Methods for Women was published by Penguin Life in June 2024.
