Biography
Cindy Lin is a Taiwanese American lens-based artist and researcher whose practice centers on long-form photographic projects rooted in documentary and still life traditions. Her work employs a range of techniques, from traditional studio photography to archival imagery, sewing, and collage, evolving into the creation of three-dimensional photographic objects. More recently, Lin integrates machine learning and creative computing methods into her practice. Her projects explore shifting identities and their socio-economic impacts, with a particular focus on themes of immigration and gender in contemporary society.Cindy is currently an Associate Lecturer at the Creative Computing Institute.
