Fancheng Meng

Biography

Fancheng Richard Meng is a PhD researcher at the University of the Arts London for digital marketing study and platform performance study. His research interests are digital media, platform studies, China studies, gender studies and digital marketing. He is a member of AoIR, and he published in AoIR and is a sought-after international speaker such as Cambridge Queer Studies Conference and UAL TikTok Creators and Digital Economies symposium, AoIR, and reviews regularly for journals in the field. Before entering academia, he worked in Douyin, where he analysed the audience and developed a more detailed Internet promotion strategy in the gaming department. He is also a Senior Psychological Counsellor in China.
