Biography

I am an media and environmental educator whose teaching centres around questions of ecological breakdown, policy, assessment methodology and social justice. At the University of the Arts London, I lead an award-winning Carbon Literacy programme that has reached over 750 staff and 350 students. My work takes place in multidisciplinary contexts, where I collaborate with a body of researchers and practioners to formally accredit envrionmental courses across disciplines including fashion, architecture, film, digital ethics, costume, interior design, graphic communication design and product design. I currently teach laterally across these fields.

My industry experience and specific educational background centres around the environment within media curation, philosophy, programming, and preservation. I am a former archivist in residence and curator at the ZKM in Karlsruhe Germany, and have produced international exhibitions for LIMA, Amsterdam. From 2017-2019, I was the events and festivals programmer for Picturehouse Central, working with numerous film festivals including Sundance: London. Before this, I worked with the Royal Anthropological Institute to help set up the RAI Film Catalogue, an online repository of significant ethnographic works.
