Biography

Jesús Felipe Querol is a dedicated industrial designer and educator with a focus on employability, industry partnerships, and enterprise within the arts.
Currently a Lecturer and Industry Liaison for the MA Industrial Design and BA Product and Industrial Desing at Central Saint Martins, Jesús guides students in building critical connections with industry and developing essential professional skills.
In addition, Jesús co-directs Emma Lacey Limited, where he has played a central role in growth strategy across marketing, logistics, and design. He also serves as a business mentor in the Innovation for Growth program at the British Library and, as a Trustee at Arts Cabinet, continues to support “art as process” as a means of advancing artistic development.
With nearly two decades of experience in higher education, Jesús has presented his work at conferences internationally and has collaborated with manufacturers in Europe and the UK, merging craftsmanship with mass production principles.
Outside of his professional life, Jesús enjoys time with family and friends and proudly completed two marathons in the past, with no immediate plans for a third!
