Dr Jonathan Paylor

Biography

Jonathan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the London College of Communication. He is working on Redistributive Imaginaries: Digitalization, culture and prosocial contribution (ReDigIm), a research and knowledge exchange project led by Dr Rebecca Brammall that investigates meanings and practices of redistribution in the context of digitalization.

Jonathan’s academic background is in cultural studies and sociology. He holds a PhD from King’s College London and has previously worked for various independent research institutes and charities (e.g. the Institute for Volunteering Research and BBC Media Action).
