We are a 2-year ONLINE Master course dedicated to building an a rhizome network of regenerative practitioners who are situated around the world, building practices and implementing local change. We investigate ecosystems, species and complexities in order to propose a new perspective on building a thriving more-than-human world and teach situated with focus on collaborative and hybrid learning and are particularity suited for mature and mid-career practitioners. We recruit from all fields in the creative industries and around the globe and those who have a ‘whole system’ attitude and aim to build place-based regenerative practices.

Judith's methods of research and design are inspired by her approach as practical idealist and a deep passion for working with ecosystems. Her work is driven by a passion for fostering networks that design and cultivate new symbiotic relationships with the ecosystems that sustain us.
Judith is course leader of MA Regenerative Design (MARD) at Central Saint Martins UAL, focussing on building an international cohort that builds regenerative communities and place-based transformation. MARD contributes to a world in which designers practice collectively within communities, making positive ecological and social change, strengthening living systems and building relational ecologies. As course we work within ecosystems and with species and complexities in order to propose a new perspective on building a thriving more-than-human world.
Judith brings +15 years int. expertise and is an avid lecturer and consultant working with partners around the world. She received her MA at the Royal College of Art (UK) and since worked in design, research and education. Through her PhD, developing at the MMU in Manchester, she is contributing new relational frameworks for regenerative practice and developing the ‘Collective Noun’ as frameworks for working with the -living- in living systems.
Judith fosters collaboration, forging connections between people, places, and disciplines—especially between ecology and design. She co-founded UFƟ Unidentified Facility as a research ‘collaboratory’ to investigate future ecologies and experimental methodologies. In 2021 Judith became a fellow at Bio-leadership Fellowship addressing regenerative practices and nature-led leadership.
Previously she led 10yrs Product Design at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, Arnhem (NL) supporting a new generation to build innovative practices that form social, material and ecological responses. She implements new educational frameworks and collaborations, Fieldworks series, ArtEZ Design Residency and build partnerships with institutes and practices such as Slow Research Lab, Kyoto Design Lab, Design Inquiry, ButterflyWorks, Pratt Institute, CAMPER Lab, BioDesign Challenge, Bio-leadership Fellowship and others.
Judith's earlier design work focused on reimagining the act of making as a form of dialogue, working many years in China and her work is exhibited widely, including: Dutch Design in China (2012), Design Activism (2009), Re-imagining Communities (Premsela, 2009), Crafting Peace (IVS, Pakistan, 2013), Pratt Institute (2015) Gallery Schuessler (2009–2014).
