Oswin Tickler

Biography

Oswin Tickler is a designer and educator whose work explores the connections between people, processes, concepts and disciplines.
Oswin teaches on both the MA Publishing and BA Magazine Journalism and Publishing courses at LCC, and is an associate lecturer on a number of design courses across UAL. Oswin has taught at a variety of universities including in the US.

Oswin's design background spans politics and editorial design, with much of his personal practice concerned with experimental publishing.
Recent practice-based research has led to the exploration of creative coding within print environments, which has been formalised by HP Indigo as the HP Spark software. Oswin is now working with a number of clients to explore this and continues to push and question the boundaries between digital and print .
