            Biography
I am director of the graphic communication design programme at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.My interdisciplinary practice sits between:
- Graphic and communication design
- Media studies
- Urbanism
- History of technology
- Creative computing
My particular focuses include:
- Images, media, data and how they interact with change in the built environment
- Addressing, location & outdoor media
- Graphic design as a knowledge practice & alternate forms of academic practice
I am co-founder and co-editor, since 2012, of the publication *Urban Pamphleteer*, in collaboration with University College London Urban Lab. In 2015, I created the digital billboard installation, London is Changing. My recent publications include ‘Making Academic Publishing More Public,’ in *Transverse Disciplines* (2022, University of Toronto) and ‘Situating Google’s Alphabet,’ forthcoming in *Articulating Media* (Open Humanities Press).
I am currently working on a manuscript about postcodes and addressing and recently developed a new MA at Central Saint Martins titled, 'Communicating Complexity'.
