Biography

Hi, I am a lecturer on the BA Product & Industrial Design course at Central Saint Martins. I work specifically as a studio tutor, Monday - Wednesday, with all 3 stages of the course.

I work with the students, usually in 1:1, group, or workshop formats to help them through their projects, using facilitation and discussion as a tool to aid self-reflection, agency in their design projects and to help them develop their practitioner selfs.

Outside of CSM I am a designer-maker with a textile and knitwear focus. I make reflective clothing and accesories that have a focus on using aesthetic natural materials that have been combined with functional reflective qualities. I also centre the ethos of self-care through building strong connections + rituals in the act of mending the clothes and accesoris that we wear. I am interested in sourcing more second-hand materials and givig them a new lease of life through applying reflective elements and the ritual of mending.
