Featured in Forbes, Metro, Evening Standard, and Elite Business Magazine, and an alumna of London College of Fashion, Stacia Bedford is a dynamic and pioneering repeat entrepreneur with a track record of innovation and disruption. She was at the forefront of 'bridal tech' as the co-founder of Prim & Clover, an industry-first e-commerce platform that redefined how wedding dresses were designed and purchased online.As Managing and Creative Director, Stacia led Prim & Clover to numerous accolades, including shortlisting for Virgin Media’s VOOM Spark & Start-up Award, the FedEx Small Business Grant and the I Heart Studios/Department for International Trade Pitch Your Heart Out competition. The company was also named runner-up for the Centre for Fashion Enterprise Fash/Tech Pioneer endowment, selected as part of the 2016 Small Biz 100, and featured by American Express/Small Business Saturday. Stacia was invited to 10 Downing Street by Small Business Minister Margot James and attended a reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh GCVO, to celebrate the Better Lives Through Fashion initiative. Prim & Clover also participated in leading incubator programmes, including the Centre for Fashion Enterprise’s Pioneer and Accelerate Fash/Tech initiatives, Echo Plus' Fashion++ and Plexal's Plexiglass: Female Founders in Tech, and showcased at The National Wedding Show and A Most Curious Wedding Fair.
With over 15 years of expertise in marketing and more than a decade in fashion design, retail, and management, Stacia brings a wealth of industry knowledge, a vast professional network and extensive experience in launching start-ups across tech and the creative industries. She excels in establishing operations, commercialising products and services, setting industry benchmarks, and driving business growth. A sought-after strategist and consultant, she specialises in brand identity, consumer insights, trend forecasting, social media and omnichannel communications. She is frequently invited to speak at industry events, conferences and universities, sharing her insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, and business strategy.
