Biography

Simon Banos holds a diploma in Architectural Engineering (National Technical University of Athens) and an MA in Narrative Environments (Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London), while he is currently a doctoral candidate at CSM, investigating the current curatorial practices in the times of the accelerating ‘phygical’ phenomenon. Simon works in parallel as an exhibition designer, collaborating with museums and institutions such as V&A Museum of Childhood, The British Library, Old Royal Naval College, and The Museum of Oxford. His involvement in the arts world includes also curating and a practice as a new-media and performance artist. Simon has exhibited his work and performed in multiple venues including Biennale Larnaca (Larnaca, 2018), Window Space Gallery of Whitechapel Gallery (2017), Deptford X (2017), Lethaby Gallery (2017), YiHaus (Shanghai, 2016), La Rinascente (Milan, 2016), the Greek Pavilion at Venice Biennale 15th International Architecture Exhibition (Venice, 2016).
