Zhou Zhou

Biography

Zhou Zhou is a joint PhD researcher at UAL Creative Computing Institute and London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS). His research explores new approaches to co-creation between human and machine intelligence through signal processing, machine learning and embodied practice. Currently, he is investigating real-time collaboration between generative audio AI and human performers in dance contexts, addressing themes of agency, ethics, and embodied interaction.

As a media artist and director, he crafts new forms of performance art and produces impactful storytelling. His performance works have been showcased at major festivals across the UK and Europe, earning international recognition with awards including the MA/IN Award, the AAIA Award, and the frame:work New Talent ’24 Award.
