Ziwei Lin

Biography

Ziwei Lin is currently pursuing her PhD journey at the University of the Arts London, where she is interesting in Participatory Design, Speculative Design, and Service Design in the public sector. Ziwei has a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Fuzhou University and a master's degree in service design from UAL. Ziwei has over five years of experience in User Experience Design, providing service for Microsoft, Zoom, and Volkswagen et. , Ziwei has developed a profound expertise in integrating design solutions in diverse settings.

Her academic background also includes a year as a university lecturer and several guest lecturer positions at various universities in China, where she taught courses in Service Design, Integrated Innovation, Design Strategy and Services, and .

Currently, Ziwei's research focusses on the integration of design strategies into public administration, with the goal of increasing citizen engagement in decision-making processes, particularly in non-Western contexts. Her collaborative projects span the United Kingdom and China, including extensive work with local governments and the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
