Ziwei Zhao

Biography

Ziwei Zhao (Mia) is a PhD research candidate at the Creative Computing Institute, University of the Arts London. Her doctoral research focuses on using emerging technologies to investigate the issue of skin hunger among older adults. The research is titled 'The Interactive Narrative in XR Devices: Exploring the Emotional Needs of Skin Hunger for Lonely Older Adults.' Mia is dedicated to utilizing emerging technologies to explore social issues. Her work encompasses a broad spectrum, including immersive technologies (VR, AR, and Web VR), projection mapping, interactive devices, service design, and UI/UX design.
