LCC library will be hosting the first of the 3 BYOD: Empowerment in your pocket workshops on 23 November. Further events are to be held at CSM library and Chelsea College of Arts library.

These workshops ‘aim to unleash the assistive powers of apps, by providing a hands-on experience of how mobile assistive technology can support studying.’
These workshops are for anyone: students and staff.
There will be 2 trainers who will talk through some really useful apps and shareware that work on Android, Macs and iPhones – e.g. things that help you get organised, things that convert a photo on your phone into text read out (so you can take a photo of a poster for example) and more.
Booking is essential and remember… Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) such as smartphone and tablet. All workshops are from 2pm to 4pm.
Book on Eventbrite to attend one workshop on the following dates:
- 23rd November at London College of Communication
- 30th November at Central Saint Martin
- 7th December at Chelsea College of Arts
