What is it?

SensusAccess is an online tool that allows you to convert your files into alternative formats.

You can also use SensusAccess to create accessible documents, for example converting to a format that works better with assistive technology such as a screen reader.

Your source document can be:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Image-only PDFs
  • PowerPoint slides and more

You can convert your document to:

  • Word
  • Tagged PDF
  • MP3 (audio)
  • EPUB, EPUB3 and Mobi (e-Books)
  • Braile and more

How does it work?

You upload the document on SensusAccess portal and receive the conversion by email, just make sure you use your UAL email account.

To learn more, you can watch a quick Introduction to SensusAccess video (2:20) and read our Step by step guide to SensusAccess.

Please note:

  • You must use the service in accordance with copyright legislation
  • You shouldn't use SensusAccess for the conversion of personal data, financial records, or other sensitive information.
