Need an English level assessment before progressing to your next course?
The UAL Progress English test assesses your English level in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. Current UAL students can take the UAL Progress English test if needed to progress to the next level of university study.
How does the test work?
The test provides the IELTS equivalent score required to progress to the next study level e.g. from Foundation to BA or Undergraduate to Postgraduate.
Provided you achieve your UAL main course’s English score requirement, you will be able to use your UAL Progress English result instead of taking another external test such as IELTS.
What does the test involve?
The UAL Progress English test is held online over three days.
Day one involves taking the Reading, Writing and Listening tests. You will take the Speaking test on day two or three.
The cost of the test is £170.00 and can be booked on the following dates:
Test One: 17, 18 and 19 March
Test Two: 14, 15 and 16 April
Test Three: 28, 29 and 30 April
Test Four: 12, 13 and 14 May
Test Five: 26, 27 and 28 May
