Taking place on Friday 19 September at The Africa Centre, the ‘Diaspora Wonderland’ workshop is part of the Afro-Mediterranean Fashion in European Capitals initiative. The event seeks to contribute to a more inclusive and dynamic European fashion narrative, positioning diversity and cultural exchange at the heart of industry innovation.
'Afro-Mediterranean Fashion in European Capitals' aims to serve as a platform for creativity and entrepreneurship in fashion, fostering cultural diversity, knowledge-sharing and economic opportunities.
Exclusive opportunity for students to get involved
As part of the wider event, we’re inviting 10 emerging fashion talents from UAL to attend the event, including partaking in a workshop exploring textile memory, craftsmanship and creative heritage.

- You must be a current UAL student
- You must identify as Black or mixed heritage
- You must be available to attend event all day in person on Friday 19 September
