UAL Unibuddy Community

Get chatting with your fellow students online before the start of term with Unibuddy Community.

Unibuddy Community is the only official platform we use to give our offer holders a safe online space to connect.

Joining Unibuddy Community

Our Unibuddy Community groups are exclusively for those who’ve accepted an offer to study at UAL.

Access is by invitation only. Invitations are sent by email from Unibuddy within 2 weeks of study offer acceptance. You may also receive registration information from us directly.

You’ll be invited to join a Community with others studying the same level as you. There’s also the option to join our UAL Accommodation Services Community. You’ll find groups there for your housing choice, be that living in Halls or renting privately in London.

Use Unibuddy Community through your web browser or on your mobile with the Unibuddy app, available on both iOS and Android.

Haven’t received a Unibuddy Community invitation?

If it’s been more than 14 days since you accepted your study offer and you haven’t received an email from Unibuddy inviting you to join a UAL Community, we recommend first checking the Junk and Spam folders in your inbox.

If you don’t have an invitation, use the Contact Us option in your UAL Portal to request access.

Community guidelines

  • Be kind – no hate or bullying.
  • Be respectful.
  • Protect your personal information.
  • Keep your conversations within Unibuddy.
  • Report unwanted behaviour.

Read our UAL Unibuddy Community guidelines (PDF 127KB) before getting started.
