In March, Scenoworks, a programme of work by CSM 2023 graduating students from MA Performance: Design and Practice took place at the Platform Theatre. Timna Krenn had the pleasure of meeting interdisciplinary artist Tomio Shota who created Bach in the Clouds. This physical theatre performance is created out of respect for J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations and draws upon multi-layered narratives by eight performers including two pianists. Timna joined the first piano rehearsal for this performance and got some beautiful insights into Tomio’s work. Tune in and learn more about Bach in the Clouds and Tomio’s creative work!
