Sasha and Amanda are currently looking other Postgraduate students and alumni to collaborate on the project.

- Participation Coordinator
 - Cinematographer
 - Sound Recorder
 - Performers to act as ‘Hotel Staff’

More about the project:
During Hotel Jaguar sleepovers, participants will be dressed in the costumes designed by Amanda — fully integrating them into the installation. The audiences will experience the immersive environment , similar to those applied in the theatre — yet in a space of a gallery that is not normally used to convey this type of sensations.
Social dreaming is a method of sharing dreams in a collective, developed by W. Gordon Lawrence in 1982. During the dream-sharing event, called a “matrix”, the participants share their real nighttime dreams, images, and associations. These dreams are not interpreted by the matrix conveners; instead, the dream images and associations are allowed to gradually accumulate in the course of the matrix. The main purpose of social dreaming — and Newall’s artwork accordingly — is to provide a forum for sharing the hidden or unspoken thoughts and feelings about the social circumstances of the participants, enabling them to create new perceptions of, and solutions to the world that they share.
