Are you a curator in need of time and space to develop new research?

Creekside Artists are currently seeking applications for a Curatorial Micro-Residency at their studio complex in Bermondsey. The micro-residency is designed to provide time and space for a curator to work intensively on new, open-ended research by offering a free work space and peer support at the studios for a fixed period of two months, from 1st June – 31st July 2018. The residency will culminate in a public talk by the curator about their research.

The studio is approximately 86sqft and would be worth £130 a month. It comes with a desk, chair and shelves, wifi and use of the communal kitchen area in a secure complex close to Bermondsey Station. Please note that although well-lit there is no natural light in the studio. Conditions of the micro-residency: the recipient would be required to use the space regularly (minimum two days a week) and give a public talk about their research at the end of the residency (July 2018). Creekside Artists studios host artists, designers and curators with a wide range of practices. The studio is not a live/work space, and although studio holders have 24hr access to the space it is forbidden to sleep at the studio overnight.

Application Procedure:
