We have vacancies in our team of Post-Grad Community Ambassadors
This is a fantastic opportunity for current postgraduate students (both taught and research) to take a more active role in the Post-Grad Community at UAL, gain experience and paid work whilst studying.
Our ambassadors represent the community, act as a point of contact for other students, devise and assist at events and write for the community blog.
The team is made up of a postgraduate student from each college and a PhD/MPhil candidate.
The roles are paid via ArtsTemps at Task Rate 2 (£12.54 per hour) including holiday pay.
Hours vary, but we would anticipate around 5 hours a month.
We are looking to recruit the following for the Autumn Term:
(with the possibility of further employment, up to a year):
- A PhD/ MPhil student studying at any of UAL’s colleges
 - A postgrad student studying at Camberwell College of Arts
 - A postgrad student studying at Chelsea College of Arts
 - A postgrad student studying at Wimbledon College of Arts
 
We are looking to recruit the following for the Spring Term:
(with the possibility of further employment, up to a year):
- A postgrad student studying at Central Saint Martins
 - A postgrad student studying at LCC
 - A postgrad studying studying at LCF
 
Applicants need to be:
- A current postgraduate student at UAL (taught or research)
 - Motivated and willing to take the initiative
 - Able to work as part of a team
 - Good at communication
 - Confident and people focussed
 - Able to work independently, manage your own time, workload and deadlines
 - Previous experience of social media, planning and delivering events could be useful, but is not essential.
 
Pay
You will need to have a National Insurance Number and register with ArtsTemps.
The role is paid at Task Rate 2. This will be paid monthly, on the submission of a time sheet.
