Your first day

Central Saint Martins
- Arrive at CSM main entrance off Granary Square
- Make your way through to the Crossing Area in front of the entrance barriers
- If you have questions or need to submit visa information, please make yourself known to the short courses desk, otherwise just locate yourself in front of the board with the course displayed on it
- Your tutor will collect you just before the course starts

Central Saint Martins (Archway Campus)
- Most UALSC courses take place in the annex building around 100ms down the road from the main archway building
- There is little seating available in the annex waiting area and there is no access until 10 mins before the courses starts, so if you arrive early, please wait in the main Archway building.

Chelsea College of Arts
- Arrive at Chelsea College main Reception entrance on Atterbury Street, adjacent to John Islip Street
- Please wait in the canteen area, located opposite the main reception

London College of Communication
- Arrive at LCC main entrance, across from the Elephant and Castle roundabout
- Please report to the Reception desk to gain entry via the barriers to the Typo Café on your right-hand side

London College of Fashion
- Arrive at LCF East Bank’s main entrance at ground level from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
- Additional temporary wayfinding signage will be in place along the route directing you to the campus
Note: during the winter months, the front and side entrance to LCF's East Bank campus may be closed. Please enter the building via the waterfront mezzanine level, which provides accessible access.

During your course
On your first day, check your booking email for location details and arrive 15 minutes early. We will give you access via ID card, visitor pass or guest list, depending on the site.

The UAL colleges' shops may have different opening hours during the Summer. You can also find materials at:
Library access
While your Short Course access gives you access to our libraries and facilities during the dates of your course, please note that loaning facilities are not available to Short Course students.
Access can only be provided with your ID card or other visitor access as provided on registration. If you forget your ID card/visitor access and the Short Course reception is not open, you will not be able to access the library.
Wi-Fi access
To connect to the Wi-Fi, select UAL-WIFI from the available options. Your username is your UAL Student ID Number. Your Student ID Number can be found in your Joining Instructions email or on your student ID card. Your password is your date of birth and must be entered dd/Mmm/ yyyy, including the forward slashes (/), with ‘Mmm’ being the first three letters of the month with the first letter captialised (Jan, Feb, etc).
You can also connect to WiFi via The Cloud by searching “_The Cloud” in your WiFi settings. Please be aware that there may be some WiFi blindspots around each campus. If you experience any issues, please contact the UAL IT Service Desk on +44(0) 207 514 9898 and quote your student ID number.

Digital badges and credentials
At the end of your course you will be sent a digital badge. Digital badges are a great way to celebrate your achievements and stand out from the crowd.

After your course, you will receive an email with a link to a feedback survey. Every month we choose a feedback participant to receive a £100 voucher.
