Study Abroad is joining UAL Short Courses in launching digital badges and credentials for Study Abroad students. Students will now earn a digital badge on successful completion of their Study Abroad course.
Digital badges make a great addition to digital portfolios and can be added to social media profiles like LinkedIn to document learning and celebrate achievements.
What are digital badges?
Digital badges document an accomplishment or skill that can be displayed, accessed or verified online.
Each digital badge contains unique metadata that relates to the course studied. This can include skills acquired, topics covered and hours studied during the course.
When you complete a Study Abroad course your digital badge will be emailed to you alongside a certificate for your records.
Our digital badges can be accessed via the Accredible platform. Sign up for a free account on Accredible to access your badges quickly and easily.
Students will also be able to record and store credentials earned from other educational providers on their profile as they continue their learning journey.
Share your achievements
Digital badges are a great way to celebrate your achievements and stand out from the crowd.
Badges can be added to CVs and shared on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. They also make a useful addition to university applications and are supported by the UCAS platform.
Students can download and print a high-quality PDF of their certificate and badge if needed.
