After finishing her degree Sally learnt a variety of jewellery making techniques before founding her business making contemporary jewellery in 1998. In July 2000 she moved to her studio at Cockpit Arts.
Many well-known contemporary shops and galleries have stocked her work during the past 27 years and she has shown her jewellery at many fairs and jewellery shows including the New York Gift Fair in the USA and the Handmade in Britain shows in the UK.

Sally designed and made a collection of jewellery to accompany 'New Dawn' by Mary Branson installed at Westminster Hall in 2016. The collection was commissioned by The Houses of Parliament shops and celebrated women's suffrage. She was commissioned to remake the collection with some additions in 2018 for the Voice and Vote exhibition also at The Houses of Parliament.
Sally recently received a Developing Professional Practice grant from the Arts Council. The grant was awarded to create a collection of jewellery and art using enamelling techniques. Sally's new work is inspired by nature and the Mediterranean.
