Tutor

Nicholas Williamson

Nick Williamson studied both Interior Design and 3D Design, subsequently working as an interior designer for hospitality projects and as a senior designer for a high street retailer. He then returned to study – graduating with an MA in Furniture Design - after which he set up as an independent furniture designer making bespoke pieces for clients. He now combines teaching with his design work and has many years of experience as a design tutor and lecturer at various design schools, universities and colleges. A personal interest in CAD software has led him to specialise in Vectorworks, AutoCAD and SketchUp. He enjoys showing students the possibilities of what these programs can achieve and enabling them to become proficient in a skill which is increasingly required by the design profession.
