This short course gives you a more in depth understanding of the buying and merchandising roles involved in the fashion retail industry.

Through the use of lectures, workshops, practical exercises and group work you will explore aspects of the fashion buyer and merchandiser roles. You will work on analysing macro and micro research to draw up a merchandise plan and create a range plan for a specific fashion retailer.

The projects you'll be asked to undertake involve mathematical formulae therefore it's essential you have an understanding of maths to GCSE level C or equivalent.
