On this course you will draught a skirt block to your individual measurements, cut and make up the toile for your skirt. Learn how to fit your toile and make any alterations to your block. This will give you a perfect skirt block to fit your figure and you then can style the block into any design you wish. Also, learn from your fellow students' experiences of their process of drafting and altering their skirt patterns.

Maddalena Amato
Maddalena Amato is a London College of Fashion graduate who has been practicing in the industry for over 45 years. She has worked with individual clients from design to finished garments, creating patterns and making garments for production, bespoke, couture and the theatre industry.
Maddalena has been an Associate Lecturer for 26 years on BA and MA courses, working at London College of Fashion (10 yrs), University of West London (5 yrs), Central Saint Martins (5 yrs), University of the Creative Arts (3 yrs), University of Westminster (6 yrs). She currently teaches pattern cutting, draping and tailoring.
