This exciting course explores the dynamic and evolving roles of the fashion stylist across editorial, commercial and consultancy contexts.

Combining fashion theory, history and hands-on practical work, this course will guide you in both conceptual thinking and technical skills like pinning and fittings. You'll respond to diverse briefs, creating innovative and experimental work while developing essential styling techniques.

You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with a professional photographer and model to produce high-quality outcomes for your portfolio, providing a solid foundation for progression to a foundation diploma or further studies.

This course is ideal for aspiring artists looking to refine their craft and build their creative futures, gain insight into styling as a role in the fashion industry and develop their portfolio.

Tutor

Nada Dahab

Nada Dahab is a British Egyptian Freelance Commercial Fashion Stylist who has styled adverts for clients such as Actimel, Barclaycard, and Calor. At the start of her career, she contributed features to Volt magazine's online home, Volt Café, as well as worked for Christian Dior Homme and Ermenegildo Zegna as a menswear sales consultant. Nada's passion for menswear and tailoring was greatly enhanced by this incredible experience.

Nada prides herself on being a multi-disciplinary creative who works not just as a stylist but also commercially, helping create character through costume for adverts and events. One of Nada's favourite roles was acting as Creative Director for Egyptian menswear brand Concrete, where she developed concepts for their social media campaigns. She oversaw the entire process, from the conception of ideas to the styling and placement of products to the production of the shoots.

Currently, Nada is an associate lecturer at London College of Fashion on the Fashion Styling and Production course, as well as a Short Course Tutor, teaching on various styling courses.
