Foundational Makeup Artistry for 11 to 15 Year Olds Short Course

Course description

Taught through a combination of engaging lectures, hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises, this exciting 5-day course helps students develop the foundational skills needed to explore the world of makeup artistry.

During the course, students gain an insight into key makeup techniques such as skin preparation, foundation application, contouring and blending. Students also explore the basics of colour theory and learn how to enhance facial features with age-appropriate looks.

The course aims to foster creativity whilst teaching the importance of hygiene and proper tool usage. Students practice their skills during class hours with support from the tutor.

By the end of the course, students will have developed a well-rounded understanding of makeup artistry and the confidence to continue their passion and journey in beauty.

  • Be able to understand and apply basic makeup techniques
  • Be familiar with makeup tools and hygiene practices
  • Know how to create simple and age-appropriate looks

Who should attend?

This exciting short course is designed for young learners with little to no experience. The aim is to help students build an understanding of makeup application, colour theory and skin care. Students work on models or each other.

Level: all levels welcome

Please note: this course is for students aged between 11 and 15.
