Art and Design Summer School for 11 to 15 Year Olds Short Course
Course description
Course overview
This Art and Design Workshop short course is designed for teenagers eager to experience what it's like to study at art school. Whether a complete beginner or already studying art and design at school, this course offers a dynamic introduction to studying at Central Saint Martins.
You'll build confidence through creative experimentation, idea generation, and hands-on activities, while also developing your technical skills through practical assignments including making and designing. Toward the end of the course, you'll apply what you have learned to a personal project, guided by your tutor.
You'll aim to complete the course with a sketchbook full of ideas, several finished pieces, and a new set of technical skills to support and inspire your ongoing art and design practice.
